Terms of Service
Effective: 13 May 2026 · Applies to all accounts including demo trials
Agreement to Terms
By submitting a demo request, activating an account, or using GenixEdu in any capacity, the institution (referred to as “Client”) and its authorised users agree to these Terms in full. Use of the platform by any authorised staff member constitutes acceptance on behalf of the Client institution.
About GenixEdu
GenixEdu is a cloud-based education management platform developed and operated by TronicGen (Pvt) Ltd, incorporated in Sri Lanka. The platform provides tools for student enrolment, attendance, fee collection, exam marks, SMS parent notifications, and administrative reporting.
Demo Requests and Trial Accounts
When you submit a demo request, TronicGen will create an institution account and provide login credentials. Demo accounts are provided free of charge for a period of 7 days with full access to all platform features.
At the end of the trial, the account will be suspended unless a paid subscription is activated. Your data is retained for 30 days after suspension before permanent deletion. TronicGen reserves the right to decline any demo request at its discretion.
Subscription and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. Pricing is available on the Pricing page and is subject to change with 30 days notice. Overdue invoices (unpaid for more than 14 days) may result in account suspension. TronicGen does not offer refunds for partial months.
Plan Limits and Grace Period
Each plan includes resource limits (students, batches, subjects, staff). When you reach 100% of a limit, a 14-day grace period begins during which you may continue adding up to 110% of your limit. After 14 days over the limit, the account will be automatically suspended until the plan is upgraded or usage is reduced. TronicGen will notify you by email and SMS when limits are approached or exceeded.
